@joharmon86 yeaa i agree with u.shes still 200 plus pounds and when she steps on the scale shes still considered plus size or wateva.shes just a lil more healthy now.and i know why she chose to get a lil healthier too...she had twins and wants to be there with them so hats off to minque.im thick and shes my idol and will always be my idol.

The thing with Star Jones was that she didn't want people to think that she had surgery to correct her weight problem, when it was obvious that she did. She would pass it off as a "medical intervention". She seemed to be so concerned if people liked her or not (which not too many folks did anyway). But she should have just said, I had surgery. No one would have cared if she did or didn't if she told the truth from the jump. But because she tried to hide it, that's why she got the backlash.

I thought ppl were angry with Star Jones for a string of reasons, but I agree with you--it's ridiculous they were having backlash for wanting/having to lose weight.
