We use a different forecasting model the Richardson / Bass quant and it sees $1400 this year and more when Obama-nomics pushes up the inflation rate .
Currently inflation is not a factor in financial talk - but continued expansion of the economy combined with continued government stimulus means problems ahead.

Something left out of the video.
If you buy gold make certain you have it tested. So much gold out there now is merely tungsten (very cheap) that has been gold-plated.
There are many suckers out there.
Also, don't just get a "paper certificate" that says you own gold - MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PHYSICAL POSSESSION AND HAVE IT TESTED.
